Coming off Thanksgiving week, I know no one feels like thinking about next weeks dinners. But we have to eat. 🙃 So, welcome to The List: Friday edit.

Your Curated Grocery List

How to Use This 101

Bakery & Bread:

• 8 slices squishy sourdough bread

• 8 8-inch flour tortillas, warmed

Produce:

• 2 ripe avocados

• 2 heirloom tomatoes

• Green leaf lettuce

• 5 medium sweet onions, diced

• 1 bunch green onions

• 3 whole carrots

• 3 stalks celery, diced

• 6 small russet potatoes

• 2 garlic bulbs

• 1 green pepper

• 1 bunch fresh cilantro leaves (for ½ cup chopped)

• 1 teaspoon minced fresh parsley

• 1/2 cup finely chopped fresh basil leaves

Meat:

• 2 lbs thinly sliced deli turkey or chicken (or use leftover turkey!)

• 4 cups coarsely shredded rotisserie chicken

• 1 1/2 pounds Italian sausage

• 1 lb chicken thighs or breasts

• 1 lb Andouille sausage

Canned & Jarred Goods:

• 2 (4-ounce) cans diced green chiles

• 2 cups salsa verde, divided

• 1 (28-ounce) can fire roasted diced tomatoes

• 20 oz canned crushed tomatoes

• 1/4 cup tomato puree

• 1 tbsp Louisiana pepper sauce (or 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes, more to taste)

• 1 can tomato paste

Dairy:

• 3 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese

• 1 cup grated cheese of your choice (for soup)

• 8 ounces ricotta

• 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

• 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

• 1 cup milk

• 1/2 cup heavy cream

• 1/4 cup sour cream

Spices & Seasonings:

• Dijon mustard

• Honey

• Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper

• ½ teaspoon ground cumin

• 3 teaspoons dried oregano

• 1 teaspoon Cajun spice mix

• 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

• 2 bay leaves (for soup)

• 1/4 tsp ground cayenne

• 1/4 tsp dried thyme

• 1 tsp Tony Chachere Creole Seasoning

Oils & Vinegars:

• 1 tablespoon canola oil

• 2 teaspoon olive oil

Grains & Pasta:

• 8 ounces mafalda or fusilli pasta

• 2 cups long-grain white rice

Broth & Soups:

• 5 quarts low-sodium chicken or vegetable broth

Miscellaneous:

• Salt & vinegar potato chips (or regular)
